Austin Ekeler, WR of the LA Chargers, and formerly of Western State and Eaton High School, joins the show to tell Al & DMac the same agent recruited him & Danny Woodhead, and told Austin he had some of the same characteristics as Woodhead. Austin reminds the guys he’s been in their own back yard, and DMac asks Austin why he didn’t transfer despite his skill level. Ekeler mentions UNC wanted to transfer him to corner, and he can’t wait to play Denver Week 1. Also, how training side-by-side with Christian McCaffrey gave Austin the confidence he needed.
