Broncos reportedly ink CB Ronald Darby to 3-year deal

The Denver Broncos appear set to bolster its secondary in free agency, adding cornerback Ronald Darby on a three-year deal, per ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapaport reports Darby will receive $30 million over the three years with $19.5 million fully guaranteed.

A second round pick by the Bills out of Florida State in 2015, Darby spent his first two NFL seasons in Buffalo before an injury-plagued three-year tenure with the Philadelphia Eagles.

However, Darby bounced back in 2020 to play a full 16-game slate for Washington, starting each game.

Pro Football Focus ranked Darby as the 28th best cornerback in the NFL last season and the 13th best available free agent this offseason at the position.

During his six years in the league, Darby has amassed eight interceptions, 81 passes defensed and 306 tackles.
