Mile High Magazine 05/05/2024 Swim Across America Denver

Guest: Nicole Vanderpool Co-Director Swim Across America Denver mission is to find a cure for cancer.  Every 15 minutes, 50 Americans  are diagnosed with cancer and 47 children are diagnosed with cancer every day.  Swim Across America hold open water swim across American to raise money for critical Cancer Research in the communities in which the funds are raised.  Swim Across America Denver donates the money they raise to Children's Hospital Colorado.  Swim Across America Denver  will be Saturday, August 17th at Chatfield Main Reservoir. If you do not want to participate in the open water swim, there are a series of pool swimming events held throughout the summer.   www.swimacrossamerica.org/denver
