Guest: Joe DunnBlood Donor Recruiter Garth Englund Blood Center is blood donation center in Northern Colorado for UCHealth. There has been a huge increase in need for blood donations but also because Medical Center of the Rockies is now a level 1-trauma center.  It is a simple process, they need a photo id and they will do a take you into a private room to set up your profile and do the screening and then take you to do the donation.  A typical donation takes 30 minutes total.  One donation can save three lives.  There is a blood drive coming up on the 17th and 18th in Loveland.  Appointments are highly recommended but they will take walk-ins.  Due to the pandemic, blood donations are down.  There has not been a blood shortage this low in decades.            https://www.uchealth.org/locations/garth-englund-blood-donation-center-fort-collins/
