Guest: Adrianne Glazer Content and Communications Specialist The Dumb Friends League, headquartered in Denver, is the largest community-based animal welfare organization in the Rocky Mountain region—providing a strong, compassionate and steadfast voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.  They care for more than 21,000 homeless pets and horses each year.  They also provide low cost vet clinics, spaying, and neutering of cats and dogs.  They have five locations soon to be 6 locations. They have a goal to adopt 1,910 animals between August 29-September 19th.  They are offering 50% off all adoptions and if you are a senior or military, they are waving the fees.  On September 18th they are also waiving the fees for their animals that have been there the longest.        ddfl.org
