Tuesday March 29, 2016
On today’s Tuesday edition of the show, Sandy was joined by Terry Frei who filled in for Brandon Stokley. The two kicked off the program by discussing DU hockey playing in the Frozen Four this weekend. The guys also talked about how Denver may be a good home for Mark Sanchez to rejuvenate his career.
The guys talked about the NCAA March Madness tournament and how they like the single elimination format.
Freddie Coleman joined the program to talk about the tournament as the Final Four kicks off this weekend. Listen to Freddie’s interview HERE.
Hour two began with the guys talking about how Colin Kaepernick would be unable to pass a physical at this time if he were to be traded. The peak for Colin was in 2012, when he led the 49ers to the Super Bowl. The last two years have been difficult for him however, and he may be damaged goods.
Hour two continued with Sandy and Terry talking about how Terry believes that the Broncos like Colin Kaepernick more than they are letting on. KC Joyner of ESPN said that Mark Sanchez will be better for the Broncos next season than it was last season from an analytics standpoint. The argument is not that Sanchez will be great, but adequate.
Sandy and Terry continued their discussion on Mark Sanchez.
Hour two wrapped up with the guys taking some phone calls continuing the conversation about the Broncos QB situation.
Drew Goodman joined Sandy and Terry to kick off today’s third and final hour. The guys discussed the Rockies, as Spring Training is wrapping up and the regular season is set to begin.
The hour continued with Sandy and Terry talking about the Avalanche, and how they aren’t quite out of the playoff race yet.
Today’s show closed out with the guys talking about Von Miller on Dancing with the Stars among some other topics. The Avalanche play St Louis tonight, and the Wild face off against the Blackhawks. Could the Avalanche get back within two points tonight for the final playoff spot?
