3PM – Big Al is joined to start the show with Chad Brown in the absence of D-Mac. They kick off the show talking about the Broncos’ trade for quarterback Mark Sanchez of the Eagles. Big Al says that he liked the move, and that Sanchez needs the right team around him to bring out the best in him. Chad Brown says that having a quarterback on the team that has played before is a step forward. They talk about the possibility of the Broncos bringing in another veteran QB, and Big Al says the only guy he would like to see is Colin Kaepernick. The guys are joined by Earl Boykins for the Big Three at 3:30 which Big Al kicks off by talking about how Adam Gaze called C.J. Anderson chubby a year before trying to sign him. Chad Brown asks if the Broncos should be concerned about the running game going forward. Big Al points out that three teams have expressed interest in Johnny Manziel, and asks if the Broncos should consider him a target.

4PM – Big Al kicks off Football at Four talking about Mark Sanchez and what his role on the Broncos will be. Big Al says the top 4 QBs in the 2016 draft are Jarred Goff, Carson Wentz, Paxton Lynch, who Al says is the best of the bunch, and Connor Cook. Chad Brown review the QBs available, saying that RG3 the worst option of the bunch. Big Al argues that RG3 would have been humbled after sitting on the sideline for a year. Chad says that RG3 comes off as a “coach doesn’t like me” sort of guy. The guys are joined by Broncos insider Chris Landry and they talk about how teams go about evaluating their own players and evaluating players in free agency. Landry talks about how the market for players dictates everything in the free agency period, which is why sometimes teams will sign teams before they know how good they are to keep them from hitting the market. Big Al agrees that the Broncos may have made a mistake by not resigning players earlier in the season. Landry Talks about how Denver might have made a mistake in not placing a second round tender on C.J. Anderson. Listen to our conversation HERE!

5PM – The guys open the final hour of the show talking about the way the Broncos waited to give offers to their free agents. They say that the Broncos should have given an offer to Malik Jackson and Brock Osweiler during the season at the latest. Big Al says that if they wait until the last second to start negotiating with players it will almost always come back to haunt them. They agree that Von Miller will likely hold out to get a massive salary, and that yet again the Broncos have hurt themselves by not getting an early deal with him done as well. They guys start to question if the Broncos have already blown the off-season given all the talent that they have lost and the failure to resign anyone so far. Chad Brown disagrees, he believes that resigning Von Miller and bringing in a young QB will make up for the Broncos moves thus far. The guys are joined by Colorado Rockies insider Thomas Harding. They talk about how this season and the future stack up for the Rockies. Harding believes that the Rockies could have a good window for winning very soon. Listen to our conversation HERE!
