Schlereth & Evans – 3/11/2016: The show started with the guys recapping the Broncos losses in free agency as well as possible replacements for those guys. They also analyzed Colin Kaepernick’s current team status as possible landing spots for him. Chad Brown also joined the guys to chime in on his thoughts about Brock, Kaepernick, and other big free agency news.
The guys kicked off the show talking about Osweiler leaving to play for the Texans. They moved on and discussed the other players the Broncos have lost. Stink talked about why non-competitive franchises over pay for championship players.
The Morning Brew opened with CJ signing the offer sheet with the Dolphins, Brock was introduced in Houston, Sean Smith moved to another division rival, and CSU moved onto the Semi-Finals.
The guys closed the hour talking about where Kaepernick might be moved.
The guys began hour two discussing John Elway’s track record as GM and what could have been the magic number to keep Osweiler in Denver. They also delved deeper into if Elway and the Broncos really had a sense of what the open market was going to have waiting for Brock when the new league year began on Wednesday.
The fellas then moved on to Four Down Territory where they talked about C.J. Anderson’s possible move to Miami, Brock’s arrival and presser in Houston, Kapernick’s possible landing spots, and Mohamed Sanu’s latest signing with the Atlanta Falcons.
Hour two closed with Mike and Mark taking a deeper look into Coach Kubiak’s offensive scheme and whether or not it is a quarterback friendly system.
The guys began hour 3 chatting about other free agency news around the league as possible destinations for the big names left on the market.
Chad Brown, former CU Buff, joined Mike and Mark to break down the recent moves made in NFL free agency.
