Free Agency Opens Today: Schlereth & Evans

We kicked off the show talking about the Broncos letting Malik Jackson go and whether or not that was a good move. They moved on and discussed the Owen Daniels cutting. Mike said through the draft this past season they made Daniels expendable.

The Morning Brew opened with Malik’s departure, Chris Ivory signed with the Jaguars, the Nuggets beat Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks, and their was a swarm of bees at the Rockies game. Mark & Mike closed the first hour discussing if the Broncos have a chance to get a home town discount from Brock Osweiler.

The second hour opened with the guys defending their previous statements.

Arnie Stapleton, of Associated Press, joined the guys to discuss possible free agent moves. He said the Broncos should draft an offensive lineman in the first round. Arnie discussed how to replace Malik Jackson. Listen to our conversation with Arnie Stapleton HERE!

Four Down Territory kicked off with the cutting of Owen Daniels, Megatron retired, Chris Cooley said nobody liked to play with RGlll, and Mario Williams signed with the Dolphins. The second hour closed with the guys talking about free agent moves from other teams.

The final hour started with the guys being joined by Coach Roy. He talked about his thought process of benching Semyon Varlamov, and how it worked out in the end. He discussed the guys that got long term deals, and said they are the ones he believes they can win with. He broke down the Avs ability to score on a power play and kill a power play. The guys began to recap all of the unofficial free agent moves. Stink said it’s good that the Lions are getting a receiver, but they aren’t getting a number one receiver. Mike said Jack Del Rio is trying to model his team after Elway and the Broncos. Schlereth & Evans capped the show discussing what could happen with Brock Osweiler.
