Here’s when the Broncos will wear their throwback, navy-blue, orange and white jerseys in 2026
After wearing throwback uniforms three times in each of the previous two seasons, the Broncos will wear them one fewer time this year.

If you adore the Broncos’ throwbacks, you might have been a bit disappointed when the Broncos released their full jersey schedule for the 2026 season on Wednesday.
That’s because you’ll see them one fewer time than the last two seasons, when the Broncos wore their 1977-inspired uniforms three times in each of those campaigns. This year, the number is pared back to two games.
They’ll bust out those beauties for the Thursday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks and the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers. But the third throwback game is being replaced by a second game in the team’s alternate navy-blue jerseys,
NFL teams are limited to four total regular-season games in alternate jerseys — with a fifth game added for teams participating in the NFL’s “Rivalries” program. Last year, NFC West and AFC East teams introduced uniforms in that initiative; this year, the NFC North and AFC South will join them.
The Broncos and their AFC West brethren will get their “Rivalries” look in 2027.
But this season the navy-blue jerseys will make two regular-season appearances: in Week 3 on Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams, and in Week 16, the Christmas Day home game against the Buffalo Bills.
The Broncos will wear their regular navy-blue helmets for the Rams game, but for a second-consecutive year, they’ll bust out the alternate white helmets on Christmas.
Last year, the Broncos topped their white-on-white ensemble at Kansas City with the white helmets. They added white socks for a complete white-out, snowman look for the holiday. It begged for a cold night complete with snowflakes, but the holidays were unseasonably warm in Kansas City last year; the kickoff temperature was a balmy 57 degrees.
