Unable to stay healthy, Nuggets get so-so news on the injury front
In a season that has seemingly seen someone out of the lineup on a nightly basis, the Nuggets got decent news when it came to their latest injuries

Another day, another injury for the Denver Nuggets. That’s how it’s seemed to have gone all season long for the team. From the opening game to the stretch run, David Adelman’s group just can’t seem to stay healthy.
The injury bug bit again on Wednesday night. In Denver’s win at Utah, the Nuggets watched as both Tim Hardaway Jr. and Peyton Watson left the game with various ailments. Hardaway banged his knee into a Jazz player, while Watson tweaked his troublesome hamstring.
Hardaway returned to practice on Friday and is expected to play on Saturday afternoon against the Spurs. The news wasn’t as good on Watson, however.

The Nuggets only have five games remaining in the regular season. The NBA Playoffs tip off two weeks from now. So while week-to-week isn’t great news, it’s better than what it could’ve been. After all, this is a team that has become notorious for having players that will be “re-evaluated in four weeks.”
Watson could return by the end of the regular season. He will almost assuredly be ready to go during the playoffs. Will he be ready for game one of the first round? That remains up in the air.
The Nuggets are close to being healthy for the postseason. But they have one key piece that isn’t quite ready to return to the lineup just yet.
