ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Every Broncos player on the 53-man roster practiced for a second-consecutive day as on-field work in advance of Saturday’s divisional-round duel with the Buffalo Bills continued.
That included defensive players John Franklin-Myers, P.J. Locke and Dre Greenlaw, all of whom battled injuries in recent weeks. Greenlaw and Franklin-Myers did not play in the regular-season finale, while Locke was injured in the 19-3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers and did not finish the contest.
Greenlaw was limited in Tuesday’s practice due to the hamstring injury he suffered late in the Dec. 21 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Locke was not listed on the injury report at all.
Franklin-Myers dealt missed the regular-season finale with a hip injury.
“It’s one of them things,” he said Wednesday of the hip issue. “But it feels a lot better now.”
BRONCOS HAVE TWO PLAYERS WORKING THEIR WAY BACK FROM INJURED RESERVE
Inside linebacker Drew Sanders and tight end Lucas Krull continued their practice work in their ramp-up periods for potential returns from injured-reserve stints from foot injuries.
Sanders began his practice window last Saturday. He has been sidelined since suffering his injury on the second day of Broncos training camp. Krull has been out since suffering an injury in practice in Week 5.
