Bo Nix says Broncos ‘got a lot of potential’ after crushing the Cowboys

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix was excellent against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

He threw four touchdowns, passed for 247 yards and the Broncos are 6-2 after a dominant 44-24 victory.

After the game, Nix was asked about the potential of his team that is currently leading the AFC West and only has two losses this season, both on walk-off field goals at the buzzer.

“We’ve got a lot of potential. We played really well, just all cylinders. Run game, pass game, third-downs. We played well in the red zone, scored points,” Nix said. “Our defense played well, got us the ball back a lot. Overall, just a really good performance by us.”

Nix found Troy Franklin for two touchdowns, RJ Harvey for another and Pat Bryant as well. He did throw an interception early, but quickly shook it off and and was solid the rest of the afternoon.

Bo Nix was asked about that moment and gave a great answer on his mindset after the pick.

“You just owe it to the team. Can’t go into a shell the rest of the game. That’s not going to do anybody any good, including myself. Definitely was, um, not happy about it. But what can I do? Go back and change it? Gotta move forward, can only change the future and go make the plays in front of me and that’s what we did,” Nix said.

Bo Nix certainly made plays, as did the Broncos defense and their skill position guys on offense.

On paper the Cowboys looked like an intimidating matchup, but Denver had no problems.

We’ll see how this season ultimately shakes out, but right now, the Broncos can fight with anyone. Bo Nix is a big part of that, and the ceiling feels like a potential Super Bowl trip for this squad.
