LONDON — The Denver Broncos are in London this week to take on the New York Jets. After last week’s miraculous comeback win over the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles, Sean Payton and his squad are looking to carry that momentum into a game against a Jets team that is still searching for its first win of the season.
The Jets have struggled mightily this year, as they are the only team in the NFL that hasn’t won a game through five weeks. They lost two close ones down the stretch, but were outplayed in the other three contests. In those three losses, to the Bills, Dolphins and Cowboys, the Jets faced a deficit of at least 14 points at some point in the game.
This will be the sixth straight season that these two foes square off. Denver has won three of the five games this decade, including a 10-9 victory on a gloomy day in East Rutherford a season ago. The Broncos lead the all-time series 23-18-1.
Here’s everything you need to know about Sunday’s contest.
