Mikko Rantanen continues his torrid playoff pace for Stars

As if watching their former player beat them in Game 7 last Saturday wasn’t bad enough, Avalanche fans continue to have salt thrown in the wound as the NHL Playoffs continue. On Wednesday night, Mikko Rantanen continue his heater, recording another hat trick in the Stars victory over the Jets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Rantanen scored three goals in the third period to eliminate Colorado. He netted three in the second period against Winnipeg. The former Av continues to light the lamp, with seemingly everything he puts on goal finding its way into the net.

It’s painful to watch for Colorado fans. The Moose is loose, while the Avalanche are sitting at home.
