Watch: Rosburg’s special teams comes through, Wilson rushes in score

Russell Wilson’s Denver Broncos are leading the AFC West-best Chiefs thanks to a key special teams play and a quick strike.

In the second quarter after a Broncos-forced interception of Patrick Mahomes, Denver was punting. A rip from Alex Singleton put the ball on the carpet and the Broncos were on it to scoop the pigskin.

On the first play from the 16-yard line, Russell Wilson ran what looked like a triple option keeper. He turned the corner and darted into the painted grass for six.

Kansas City responded with a score going into the break so the Denver lead did not last for long.

Still, Wilson tucking the ball and running under a somewhat new coaching staff is an interesting development. It was Wilson’s second rushing touchdown of the season.
