Ryan McMahon earned this week’s Smashburger “Smashed It” Play of the Week for his home run against the Padres on Sunday afternoon at Coors Field.

The Rockies were trailing the Padres 7-1 in the third inning when McMahon came to the plate. He launched a ball to deep right-center field, over the extended wall and into the bullpen. It helped trim Colorado’s deficit, but the pitching just wasn’t there for them against San Diego. Colorado lost the game 13-6, despite McMahon hitting his 19th home run of the year.
