Brendan Rodgers earned this week’s Smashburger “Smashed It” Play of the Week for his walk-off single against San Francisco on Saturday night at Coors Field.

The Rockies and Giants were tied 3-3 in the bottom of the 10th inning when Rodgers came to the plate with two runners on base.

Rodgers lined a solid single up the middle, giving the Rockies a dramatic 4-3 win and a series victory over San Francisco. Colorado had a chance to sweep the Giants on Sunday, but fell 9-8 in 11 innings to drop to 53-70 on the season. Regardless, after a tough start to the season, Rodgers has been a bright spot for the Rockies from May on forward.
