The Denver Broncos have seen a plethora of talented players since the merger of the American and National Football Leagues in 1970.
While it may be easy for Broncos Country to explain why a particular quarterback or running back is the best of his generation, this list is here to tackle which Broncos players are the best of all time.
Every Fan host was tasked with ranking top Broncos players’ skillsets to come up with the greatest Broncos roster.
This all-time roster will have a few no-brainers on it, but ultimately the Fan hosts decided who was the best of the best.
Here is the Broncos’ all-time roster at wide receiver.

Rod Smith
Rod Smith went from undrafted rookie to a household name. The wide receiver finished his career with 849 catches for 11,389 yards receiving and 68 touchdowns.
He also helped the Broncos to two Super Bowls and was a three-time Pro Bowl selection.
His accomplishments speak for themselves, as Smith was a 2-time Super Bowl champion, second-team All Pro in 2000 and 2001, NFL receptions leader in 2001, and 3-time Pro Bowler.
Demaryius Thomas
Demaryius Thomas just announced his retirement but his legacy with the Denver Broncos will live on forever.
Thomas was a first-round draft pick in 2010 and sits only behind Ring of Famer Rod Smith as the team’s second-leading receiver (9,055 yards). He is third in franchise history in catches (655) behind Smith and Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe.
He played in 10 seasons overall and finished with 724 catches for 9,763 yards to go with 63 touchdowns.
Ed McCaffrey
McCaffrey joined the Broncos as a free agent in 1995 following three years in New York and a one-year stint with the 49ers.
Through his time in the Mile High City the wide receiver developed into one of the franchise’s leading receivers. He finished his career with 105 starts in 121 career games, 462 catches, 6,200 yards, 13.4 yards per catch and 46 touchdowns.
He caught at least one pass in 68 consecutive games from 1997 to 2003, a streak that ranks third in franchise history.
