The Buffs (22-8) came in as the No. 5 seed in the East region, the team’s highest NCAA Tournament seed since 1985.
They will face No. 12 seed Georgetown in the first round Saturday.
According to ESPN, before the Buffs faced Oregon State in the Pac-12 tournament final on Saturday, McKinley Wright IV had averaged 21 PPG over his past four games of a six-game Buffaloes winning streak.
Tad Boyle’s squad has lost just two games since Jan. 30.
This year’s men’s NCAA tournament will take place entirely in the state of Indiana due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will follow a set of virus protocols in the event of team outbreaks.
