DMac and Tyler began the show talking about the potential 2-year plan for the Broncos. Which players that are on the team now, will be on the team in two years? In the water cooler, they guys discuss the possibility of NFL teams having to move to different cities due to their state’s laws in the pandemic. DMac lists two possible teams to move to Denver. Closing out the hour, DMac kills it with truth on Rays pitcher Blake Snell saying he refuses to play for a reduced salary.
In Football at Four, how would the Broncos have success stopping the Titans in week 1? DMac asked Tyler how important it is to win the first game of the season. DMac explained how the Broncos can be in the AFC Championship in 2021. The guys then jumped back into Pat’s Playbook. Our Broncos insider Nicki Jhabvala joined the show to give her thoughts on A.J. Bouye’s Zoom call from today. Nicki mentioned that she’s nervous about the depth in the secondary with the Broncos. The fellas gave their thoughts on Blake Snell saying that he refuses to play for a reduced salary this season. James Merilatt of 1043TheFan.com joined the show to talk about today’s Fan Timeline 25 piece of the 1998 sports year in Denver. How bad of a year did the Nuggets have and did they mess up in the draft as well?
In the third hour, DMac and Tyler bring K.J. Hamler into the Fan Film Room. The guys debate whether or not Hamler is a bona fide NFL receiver or simply a specialist.
In the top six, Joe Buck says that the TV networks will add crowd noise in the broadcast during live sporting events. James Harrison says Mike Tomlin gave him an envelope after he was fined $75K after a hit on a Browns wide receiver. How does Courtland Sutton feel about the Broncos drafting wide receivers in the first two rounds of the NFL Draft. Mike Evans called in and actually agreed with DMac on K.J. Hamler.
