In the first hour of The Drive with DMac, Tyler Polumbus and Nick Ferguson recapped an impressive Denver Broncos win against the Houston Texans and shared their biggest takeaways. Head coach Vic Fangio spoke today and had some strong words for the two players that got a game ball yesterday and the guys discussed what it takes to get compliments from Fangio. Wrapping up the first hour of The Drive, DMac with Polumbus and Ferguson talked about whether or not Drew Lock is ready to be the face of the franchise for years to come.
In the second hour of The Drive, DMac with Nick Ferguson and Tyler Polumbus opened with Drew Lock’s potential and how high his ceiling is being a quarterback for the Denver Broncos. The guys talked about how realistic it is for the Broncos making the playoffs this year and what the future outlook for the Broncos. The guys also talked about the 2020 NFL Draft and which position needs to be addressed first. Wrapping up the second hour of The Drive, they discussed John Elway’s job security as well as the rest of the Broncos coaching staff.
In the third hour of The Drive with DMac, Tyler Polumbus and Nick Ferguson took a look at the Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Drew Lock and his performance yesterday against the Houston Texans and what this could mean for the franchise the next 10 years. Wrapping up the third hour of The Drive, Denver 7’s Troy Renck, our Fan Broncos insider joined us and discussed Drew Lock’s second start and the team bonding. Renck also discussed the future of the young quarterback and the talent level he has.
In the final hour, the guys compare Drew Lock to a certain Hall of Fame QB. Tyler explained why he was happy with Ja’Wuan James’ performance against the Texans. With Kareem Jackson’s hit, Nick talked about what that feels like when you get a big hit on a former teammate. Who will the Broncos pick with their first round pick? The guys then gave their thoughts on Drew Lock’s touchdown celebration.
