It’s time for the Broncos to commit! The Drive: 12.02.19

In the first hour of The Drive, DMac with Tyler Polumbus and Nick Ferguson recapped the Denver Broncos win against the Los Angeles Chargers with Drew Lock leading the way in his first NFL start. The guys also discussed the one player that did not get a game ball from yesterday and that that means. Wrapping up the first hour of The Drive with DMac, Polumbus and Ferguson discussed whether or not to sit Von Miller out for the rest of the year and if Derek Wolfe is a ring of famer.
In the second hour of The Drive with DMac, Nick Ferguson and Tyler Polumbus, the guys talked about Drew Lock’s first NFL start for the Denver Broncos and what the fans should be most excited for. Brandon McManus was held off the field for a NFL record 65-yard field goal but paid off kicking the game winning kick at the end and DMac, Ferguson and Polumbus discussed about the situation at hand and the difference between safe play calling and scared play calling. DMac with Ferguson and Polumbus discussed the confusion of John Elway drafting players that do not fit his systems on offense and defense. Wrapping up the second hour of The Drive, Denver 7’s Troy Renck, our Broncos insider joined and discussed the confidence of Drew Lock in his first start for the Denver Broncos. Renck also discussed Brandon McManus on his helmet slam after getting pulled for a 65-yard field goal.
In the third hour of The Drive, DMac with Tyler Polumbus and Nick Ferguson talked about the lack-of fans at the Denver Broncos game against the Los Angeles Chargers and what the Broncos organization should have done different to make sure 19,000 fans show up. DMac chirped the news about John Elway feeling the pain of Broncos fans with the lack of excitement on offense and non-aggressive nature on defense. Wrapping up the third hour of The Drive, DMac with Polumbus and Ferguson shared their thoughts on offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello and his future with Denver.
In the fourth hour, DMac, Tyler and Nick discuss what Drew Lock’s performance on Sunday means for the remainder of this season and beyond. DMac explains why he and Mike Evans agree on how the Broncos should proceed moving forward at the quarterback position. As it sits right now, what position should the Broncos focus on with their first round draft selection?
