James Merilatt sat in for DMac today. In the first hour, James and Tom reacted to the Women’s National Team’s victory over France in the World Cup Quarterfinals this afternoon. James wishes one of Denver’s sports legends a very happy birthday. The guys discuss the NBA’s decision to give coaches the opportunity to challenge an official’s call on the court and break down what the Nuggets could do in free agency. ESPN’s Pedro Gomez, our Fan Rockies Insider, joined the program to discuss where the Rockies stand after a 12^th consecutive loss to the Dodgers.

In the second hour, James and Tom continue the countdown to Training Camp 2019 by answering whether or not they think Ja’Wuan James will be worth the money the Broncos paid him this off season. The guys comment on USA Today’s “100 Biggest NFL Busts of All Time” list, which included several Bronco players. Was Mark Schlereth correct in saying Garett Bolles might be the worst left tackle in the NFL? Tom says Reggie Wayne’s comments regarding Courtland Sutton have merit.
