The Drive with Chad Brown & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO!!! The Fan Fantasy Football Insider Cecil Lammey joins the show to preview players that are comparable to Bradley Chubb, and explain why this year’s QB class won’t touch the QB class of 2018.
DMac is shocked Phillip Lindsay didn’t receive a combine invite, and Chad says look at all the other successful NFL backs that played for the Buffs. Chad says it’s about what’s inside of you for Lindsay, and DMac says Lindsay is upset with the Broncos for not drafting him. DMac says Lindsay plays with no fear, and Denver got lucky when Lindsay signed with the Broncos.
In the Big 3, DMac asks Chad how he feels about stars playing in meaningless NFL games, and Chad says he simply loves playing the game of football. Chad mentions Cam Newton being shut down for the season, and DMac mentions Missy Franklin’s retirement from swimming at age 23.
The guys talk about going for it on fourth down, and DMac tells Chad all NFL teams need a QB that poses a running threat to be successful on offense. DMac says even if VJ got stopped on fourth down, the Browns still had the length of the football field to go.
DMac is not impressed with Andre Holmes, and notes the amount of targets for DaeSean Hamilton. Chad says there is still football to be played, and DMac says all that can happen now is getting guys hurt.

DMac points out the advantages of having Lamar Jackson as your QB, and says there are no advantages of having Case Keenum on your team. The guys decide if there’s a difference in Joe Flacco & Case Keenum, and Chad says the backup is an important tutor of your new QB.
DMac says the Nuggets can win an NBA championship this year, and they really are that good when Jokic is an unstoppable force. DMac says not drafting a QB in this year’s draft was a five-year mistake, and reminded him of leaving steak on the table & accepting cheaper food. Also, Chad says Paxton didn’t take pirate jokes well.
Chad & DMac talk about what Joe Ellis should do with John Elway, and Chad says Elway still has final say over the roster moves. DMac says Joe Sakic doesn’t do the dirty work for the Avs, and Elway can shift into a similar role to Sakic. Also, why Peyton Manning is a good option for the Broncos once again.
DMac takes some calls on if bringing in Peyton Manning is something the Broncos should do, or have to do. DMac says simply firing Vance Joseph is not the answer, the problems in Denver run deeper.
