Big Al: Like Broncos chances ‘against anybody in Mile High’

Sep 26, 2018, 5:22 PM

Heading into a divisional matchup on Monday Night Football, the Denver Broncos are underdogs against the Kansas City Chiefs at home by -4.5 points, according to FiveThirtyEight.com.

Also according to the site, Denver has just a 35 percent chance to win compared to Kansas City’s 65 percent.

But, throw out the numbers, “The Drive” co-host Alfred “Big Al” Williams said on Wednesday.

“I like our chances against anybody in Mile High It’s a very, very unique home-field advantage,” Williams said.

Williams’ co-host DMac echoed a similar sentiment, saying that Denver, if they’re doing what they should as an organization, “should win at Mile High every single game.”

“I think a high-quality organization like the Broncos should win every single game at home. There’s really no excuse for them to lose a game at home,” DMac said.

And history skews toward favoring the Broncos as well.

At home against Kansas City all-time, Denver has a 35-23 record (.603). What’s more, the Broncos hold a 24-11-1 record all-time on Monday Night Football at home.
