The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO!!! Rockies writer for MLB.com Thomas Harding joins the show to talk about the upcoming series against the Dodgers, and if Trevor Story can keep a good thing going. Troy Renck of Denver 7 joins the show to talk about the Seahawks matchup for Week 1, and the difference in Tom McMahon & Brock Olivo.

DMac tells Big Al why he loves Sports Illustrated, and why college is fun. Big Al goes over what’s wrong with the NFL and why a rain delay killed the beginning of the NFL season. Al thinks the Eagles game was frustrating & tells Denver if they build a stadium, it needs to be a dome. Also, why Big Al will be glued to the TV for CU vs Nebraska.

In the Big 3, Big Al brings up Tim Tebow’s opinion on the Michigan vs Notre Dame game, and says Tebow was right when he talked about needing more from both college teams. DMac reacts to the Falcons & Eagles game, and the ‘lack of clear proof’ excuse when it comes to Julio Jones & his catch along the sidelines.

Rockies writer for MLB.com Thomas Harding joins the show to talk about the upcoming series against the Dodgers, and if Trevor Story can keep a good thing going. Harding says Story should be in consideration for MVP due to where the Rockies are in the standings. Listen to the interview HERE!!!

Big Al tells DMac it’s nice to see some consistency at quarterback with Case Keenum, and things should go better on offense in 2018 because of it. Big Al is excited about the new young runners for the Broncos, and says they should have little trouble scoring.

Big Al says the Broncos have to run the football & trust the defense. DMac asks Big Al how Bill Musgrave & Gary Kubiak are supposed to work in tandem when it comes to Denver’s game plan each week.

The guys get into their ‘Fan Football Pick ‘em’ and DMac finds out what Big Al thinks about Philip Rivers matching up against Patrick Mahomes II in Week 1. Al doesn’t expect Khalil Mack to have a big impact for the Bears yet, and looks for Davante Adams to take advantage of Jordy Nelson’s departure in Week 1 against the Bears. Also, a preview of the Steelers & browns game, and the Raiders game against the LA Rams.

Troy Renck of Denver 7 joins the show to talk about the Seahawks matchup for Week 1, and the difference in Tom McMahon & Brock Olivo. Renck says Isaiah McKenzie could be in trouble after Week 1, and that he believes in Bradley Roby’s talent. Listen to the interview HERE!!!

The fellas get the city of Denver fired up for Week 1 against the Seahawks, and take calls to get Broncos Country pumped up. Also, Mark Schlereth says Denver will come away with a victory if they can keep Russel Wilson from going over the top.

Al tells DMac what he remembers most about Phillip Lindsay, and how Lindsay can change everything if he gets into the second level of the defense or makes a play on Kick Return. Al says the Lindsay family should be proud, and DMac asks about when Al first noticed Lindsay.

The boys get ready for the weekend, and the Rockies’ series against the Dodgers coming up. Also, Big Al asks DMac if he could ever consider Jeff Heuerman a Pro-Bowl player.
