The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO! Play-by-play announcer for Seahawks Radio Network & Evening News Anchor at KIRO 7 in Seattle Steve Raible joins the show to talk about how ‘holy catfish!’ became his go-to call, and the latest with the Earl Thomas situation. Cecil Lammey joins the show to preview his fantasy show & to tell DMac and Al the Seattle defense doesn’t take chances.

DMac is curious to see what Earl Thomas is going to contribute on Sunday now that he has reported. Big Al weighs in on the LeVeon Bell situation & comes to Bell’s defense after hearing that Bell’s teammates were bashing on him for holding out.

DMac does math to figure out the Rockies chances of making the playoffs, and wants to hear from Pete Carroll on if Earl Thomas will be ready to go on Sunday. Big Al says apparently Sean McDonough doesn’t know what Jon Gruden is doing, and DMac thinks Brandon Marshall will have an impact on Sunday.

Raible says Pete Carroll is waiting to see what kind of shape Thomas is in, nobody knows Thomas like Carroll does, and if Thomas is ready to go he will play. Big Al says old players can still be good players, and DMac isn’t so sure. DMac gives us a taste of what we can expect from WR Brandon Marshall, and tells Big Al why the Seahawks don’t scare him.

Cecil Lammey joins the show to preview his fantasy show & to tell DMac and Al the Seattle defense doesn’t take chances. Cecil expects the Seahawks to rely on their coverage, and says Case Keenum will have to be careful. Listen to the interview HERE!!!

DMac talks about John Elway’s progress since 2011, and a ‘then-and-now’ look at Elway’s career as GM of the Denver Broncos. The guys talk about John Elway’s attention paid to his son, Jack, and why it can be hard to do the best by your kids.

DMac mentions the nightmare for Shohei Ohtani after hearing Tommy John surgery is required, and Big Al laughs about how much DeAngelo Henderson is being paid to be a member of the NY Jets practice squad. Also, John Elway’s struggles with the draft, and why Vance Joseph deserves some credit for this year’s draft class.

DMac touches on exciting times for the Rockies, and tells Big Al it’s hard seeing guys get cut on Hard Knocks. Big Al says ‘told ya so’ about Vance Joseph not being fond of Mike McCoy, and Al & DMac debate if VJ now has the quarterback he wants.

Al says he knows what the Broncos have to do against the Seahawks on Sunday, and we hear from Vance Joseph & Case Keenum before the Broncos matchup against the Seahawks. Also, Al talks about the months that really count during an NFL schedule.

The boys laugh about Brandon Krisztal & Romi Bean, and Big Al asks DMac if he would rather go to the Rockies game or the Broncos game this weekend.
