The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO! The boys whip out the Broncos schedule, and Big Al says the Broncos should be treated as a Top-15 offense & anyone that says different hasn’t seen them play. Also, Big Al tells DMac the Broncos defense will crush any rookie quarterback they go up against this year.
The guys talk about the Broncos new captains, including Andy Janovich, and we hear audio from Emmanuel Sanders on saying goodbye to Paxton Lynch and Khalil Mack. Al & DMac agree it’s now Jon Gruden’s show in Oakland, and Reggie McKenzie should have done all that he could to retain Mack.
DMac says destiny is in the Rockies’ hands, and asks Big Al if they have what it takes to win the division. Big Al says we are playing our best baseball when we’re supposed to be. DMac asks if the absence of LeVeon Bell hurts the Steelers, and Big Al expects Bell to report on Thursday or he will lose $890,000. Al asks if DMac is excited for the 2018 NFL season, and DMac tells Big Al what he expects to happen to the Broncos.

DMac drills Big Al on why he thinks the Seahawks will beat the Broncos in Week 1. Big Al mentions that he’s afraid of Russell Wilson burning us & Case Keenum might struggle. DMac says the Seahawks don’t have an identity yet this season.
DMac & Al laugh at Al’s love for Philip Rivers, and Al points out there are no easy wins on the Broncos’ schedule this season. Al reminds DMac he still has Denver going 10-6, but there will be some tough games to win, such as Seattle in Week 1.
DMac says he wants a copy of Case Keenum’s book, and takes some calls on what to expect from the Broncos on Sunday against the Seahawks. DMac says both Seattle & Denver’s lines are brand-new, and Big Al puts the Broncos’ depth chart up against the Seahawks.
Big Al asks DMac if he wants Bradley Roby to take chances at corner, and notes that he wants Denver’s defense to break opposing teams’ will with playmakers. DMac simply wants Bradley Roby to keep the ball in front of him & stay safe.
Big Al says he has the Chargers winning the division, and the Raiders finishing last. Al tells DMac Hall of Fame QBs like Russell Wilson make him nervous, and Courtland Sutton must take advantage of his matchups. DMac wonders if the Dolphins fans would take Elway over Marino.
DMac says John Fox is boring on ESPN, and Big Al says he would continue to roll with Nick Foles if the Eagles get out to a hot start. DMac wonders what story Case Keenum has to tell, and Big Al talks about believing in your teammates.
DMac says he’s keeping Emmanuel Sanders in his fantasy lineup, and Big Al can’t believe the drama in Michigan with Jim Harbaugh. Also, Big Al expects Steven Montez to have a monster year for the Buffs.
