Broncos sign former Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones

The Denver Broncos have added depth to its defensive backfield and special teams, signing veteran cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones on Sunday.

First reported by NFL Network’s Mike Garfolo, Jones worked out for the Broncos at UCHealth Training Center early Sunday and signed a one-year deal with the team before leaving the facility.

To free up room on the roster for Jones, Denver waived inside linebacker Bo Bower.

Jones, a former first-round draft pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2005, spent the bulk of the last decade in a Cincinnati Bengals uniform before becoming a free agent this offseason.

In 139 career games, Jones has made 102 starts while racking up 16 interceptions (two for touchdowns), 97 passes defensed, seven forced fumbles, and 12 fumble recoveries (one for a touchdown).

During his 11-year career, Jones has also served as a kick returner, running for 1,919 punt return and 3,147 kick return yards with five punts taken to the house.
