The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO! Big Al wants to know who Case Keenum’s big targets will be, and DMac isn’t expecting much from DT and Emmanuel in training camp & preseason.
Big Al is on the search for a Bradley Chubb T-Shirt, and DMac lays out the locations available to pick one up. The guys talk about changing the rules when it comes to late-game situations in the NBA in order to avoid fouling & free-throws slowing the game down. In the Big 3, Big Al says Nolan Arenado is a rock star & the Rockies’ pitching staff is sneaky good. DMac says the Eastern Conference in the NBA is not exciting, and notifies Al that Sam Darnold is now a holdout. Also, Al wonders if Carmelo Anthony is a walking Hall-of-Famer & if Dwyane Wade has a shoe deal in China. Al shares his frustrations with late surgeries in the NFL, and DMac compares the timing of surgeries to the timing of pregnancies & vacation. Al talks about doing the right thing, and when the best time to have your surgery typically is.
Big Al wants a firestarter on the Broncos defensive line, and someone to help Derek Wolfe in the run game. Al takes a look at DeMarcus Walker & Shelby Harris as helpful options, and DMac asks about DeMarcus Walker’s weight & position confusion. The guys laugh about all the rookies in the 2018 class that could be backups all year, and wonder why Cleveland is having problems signing their first two picks in the draft in Baker Mayfield & Denzel Ward. DMac & Al agree Sam Darnold is currently waiting on Baker Mayfield’s deal to get done, and Al says he’s never heard of a player openly loving another NFL team while playing for a completely different one. Al & DMac talk about the Drake concert at Pepsi Center this weekend & if Von Miller will be able to make it, despite Broncos training camp starting on the same weekend. DMac talks about how different Monday Night Football will be this year, and is still hoping to have the time of his life in 2018.
Big Al wants to know who Case Keenum’s big targets will be, and DMac isn’t expecting much from DT and Emmanuel in training camp & preseason. DMac says rhythm is crucial in Denver’s passing offense, and Al says teams make their money on TV numbers. Al thanks Pasta J’s, and DMac wonders how much free stuff Dan Hawkins got. Al mentions the games on his college football bucket list, and DMac says the CU Boulder campus doesn’t even compare to CSU in Fort Collins. DMac is upset that CU Boulder doesn’t have a baseball team, and Al is obsessed with what a big deal the ski team is. DMac squashes his beef with Wyoming, and knows he blew it in Denver for Josh Allen.
