The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO! The guys honor Annabel Bowlen & Al acknowledges what the Bowlen family means to the Broncos. The Fan’s DREAM JOB winner is announced, and the guys interview the winner LIVE ON AIR!

DMac tells Al the story of Tom Murphy & his base-running blunder in the Colorado Rockies game last night. The guys honor Annabel Bowlen & Al acknowledges what the Bowlen family means to the Broncos. Also, DMac mentions how unfortunate the situation is for Denver. In the Big 3, Al & DMac think it’s time for Bud Black to call someone out in the clubhouse, and Austin Rivers gets traded from the Los Angeles Clippers. Also, the guys talk about what it’s like landing their dream job. DMac talks about the Rockies biggest mistakes, and if they missed out on bringing in quality starting pitching & instead went with Bryan Shaw & Wade Davis. Big Al defends Bud Black, and mentions some of the questionable calls & pitches that have not gone the Rockies way lately.

The guys talk about similarities between sports, such as baseball, basketball & football. DMac puts the sports together & Al admits the beauty in 7-on-7. Al has a beef with club sports, and talks about the culture behind football & the dangers of taking a hit at a young age. Big Al remembers the ‘Bull in the Ring’ drill, and explains why it is no longer allowed in football. DMac is okay with the ‘Oklahoma’ drill, and Big Al notices the difference in drill that teach you how to play football. A caller brings up an issue with trainers in contact sports, and Al wants to see more things done when kids take the field to ensure their safety. Al asks DMac if you need to hit somebody in a pursuit drill, and gives examples of safety measures that can be taken. The guys welcome in the Top 3 finalists for The Fan DREAM JOB, and sit them down for an interview on how they got here & what it took to crack the list. DMac asks the contestants what drives them, and what makes the job so cool.

The guys talk about knowing yourself as an athlete, and DMac mentions that your destiny may be something different from what you originally thought. The guys mention the career path of Tim Tebow, and Al congratulates the winner of The Fan DREAM JOB.
