Broncos agree to 2-year deal with former Bucs DT Clinton McDonald

The Denver Broncos bolstered its interior pass rush Wednesday, agreeing to a two-year deal with former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Clinton McDonald.

A seventh-round pick out of Memphis in 2009, McDonald spent his rookie season on the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad before being added to the active roster in 2010.

Before signing a four-year deal with Tampa Bay in 2014, McDonald played three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2013, including starting for the Super Bowl XLVIII champion squad that defeated the Broncos.

During his eight-year NFL career, McDonald has 36 starts in 97 games, amassing two interceptions, one fumble recovery, 19.0 sacks and 240 tackles.
