Could Barkley fall to the Broncos at No. 5?: ‘Pritchard & Cecil’

Wednesday’s show the guys talk about some of the latest mock drafts coming out, the possibility of the Broncos taking a quarterback with the fifth overall pick and some other news from around the NFL right now as the off-season rolls along.

Hour one Pritchard & Cecil talk about building franchises in the NFL. Mike Pritchard has some great insight on how championship teams are built in the NFL. Cecil Lammey also gives some thoughts on what Pritch had to say as well as how he would look to build a team. The guys then jump into some NFL Draft discussion. Mike Pritchard thinks the Broncos need to take a quarterback at number five overall, IF they don’t think Paxton Lynch will catch on as a backup quarterback or as a future starting quarterback. The guys go through their list of quarterbacks and where they have the top five quarterbacks in the draft going.

Plus, Cecil loves this time of yea, but mock drafts fire him up. Who did it this time? Cecil Lammey reveals the latest mock draft that has him scratching his head for who they have the Broncos taking. Mike Pritchard also agrees and goes into why this latest mock draft might be slightly off kilter from what might actually happen in the draft.

Pritchard & Cecil also briefly predict who they have the Broncos taking in the first round of the draft. The fellas then transition that conversation into some offensive prospects in the draft including USC quarterback Sam Darnold. The guys break down Darnold’s game and his USC pro day today and what he must do to make a lasting impact.

Mike Pritchard breaks down how the fastest way for the Broncos to get back to the Super Bowl is to draft guard Quenton Nelson. Mike Pritchard on the other hand thought explains why it’ll be hard for the Broncos to pass on Barkley if he’s looking them in the face at number five overall.
