The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Cecil Lammey joins the show LIVE from the NFL Scouting Combine in Indy to talk about what he saw today from the lineman. Cecil says he is slowly finding out the truth about Josh Rosen, and the combine is our last opportunity to get good information on potential prospects. Denver7 Broncos Insider Troy Renck joins the show to say the running backs have impressed at the combine, and he’s surprised Sam Darnold is not throwing because Darnold has such a strong arm.
DMac breaks down the news about Texas Wesleyan Head Baseball Coach Mike Jeffcoat and his controversial email to a potential Colorado recruit resulting in his termination from the school. Big Al says social media can be brutal, but it’s still been a joy working with & dealing with the Colorado sports community. Also, DMac explains why he’ so proud of our high school athletes. In the Big 3, Big Al can’t get enough of the call from James Harden’s step-back crossover three-pointer against Wesley Johnson & the Clippers, and DMac honors the great Jim Kelly as he hears news about Kelly’s cancer returning. Big Al & DMac discuss the lineman at the NFL Scouting Combine, as well as Saquon Barkley. Big Al mentions what the Broncos should be looking for if they decide to draft a tackle in the draft, and says the Guard out of UTEP, Will Hernandez, is built like a damn trash can.

Also, DMac says Kalen Ballage would be nice but he’s not sure guys like Will Hernandez & Quenton Nelson will be there long. Also, DMac debates who Texas Wesleyan will name as interim coach, and Al says the head coach is the voice of the organization. The guys dive deeper into the story on Sean Miller & the Arizona Wildcats, and hear audio from Miller about allegedly paying $100,000 for DeAndre Ayton to come to the school. Al says Arizona’s upcoming NCAA tournament bid has a lot to do with the punishments being handed down. The guys take calls on the Texas Wesleyan head coach and politics in sports.
