The guys compare Josh McDaniels’ contract situation with the Colts to Elvis Dumerville’s fax snafu. DMac says the entire Colts organization in general looks like a bunch of fools. DMac takes some calls agreeing with him about integrity & why Josh McDaniels is not to blame, and Chad Brown shakes his head. The guys talk about Colts GM Chris Ballard living in a black & white world, and why Josh McDaniels’ agent Bob LaMonte dropped him. Also, whether or not McDaniels deserves credit for anything he did in Denver. DMac says maybe those in Indy aren’t that disappointed after all, and asks Chad why anyone would want to enter a marriage with someone that’s not fully committed.
DMac touches on the Avs, noting that Colorado is currently one point behind the Wild for the final playoff spot in the West, and the guys compare McDaniels’ situation to jobs in real-life. DMac asks Chad about his history with verbal contracts & if he would go back on his word in Seattle to keep playing with the Steelers. Columnist Bob Kravitz joins the show to say people in Indy are pissed about McDaniels, and the front office is fuming. Kravitz says Ballard tried to take the high road, and DMac asks why Indy didn’t go straight to McDaniels to get the contract signed before tweeting about the hire. Kravitz says the Cold War between Indy & New England is back on, and McDaniels gets most of the blame. Also, who the Colts will be looking at in the NFL Draft in 2018. Listen to the interview HERE! Also, the guys debate if Indy was trying to give McDaniels cold feet, and if any of this is good for the Broncos. The guys take calls on if DMac is off his rocker about McDaniels’ integrity, and Chad has some Broncos news about old Alex Smith speculation.
