The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE from Radio Row at Super Bowl LII! Kevin Harlan of Westwood 1 joins the show to say he loves his job, and it becomes a football game right at kickoff. DMac’s dad Peter McKee joins the show to talk about Super Bowl LII getting closer, and how the Eagles plan to guard Gronk. Jeremiah Sirles of the Minnesota Vikings joins the show to talk to Al & DMac about the ways you can view a program, and Big Al says he can’t wait for CU and Nebraska to change form again.

Kevin Harlan of Westwood 1 joins the show to say he loves his job, and it becomes a football game right at kickoff. Harlan will be covering Super Bowl LII for Westwood 1, and mentions what it’s like working with tough analyst Boomer Esiason. Harlan tells Al & DMac he can’t think about the millions watching & the gravity of the broadcast, because he doesn’t want to psych himself out. DMac asks Al to decide between Arizona & New York for Cousins, and the guys try to decide what Cousins cares about. In the Big 3 @ 3:30, Al & DMac hear Kevin Harlan’s call of the Nuggets monster win over the Thunder at Pepsi Center, and Peter McNabb’s call of the Avs win over the Oilers on the road. DMac mentions Russell Westbrook’s mix-up with a fan after the Nuggets game, and Al decides if the fan was in the wrong. Peter is surprised the NFL cleared Gronk from concussion protocol so quickly, and mentions DMac’s question to Goodell about the Bowlen trust. Big Al says money won’t matter when backing up the BRINKS truck for Kirk Cousins in free agency, and DMac debates what QBs the Minnesota Vikings will keep & which ones they will let walk. Big Al says this week is for champions, and there’s nothing he loves more than a Bill Belichick & Bill Parcells documentary. Al tells Dmac he will watch a documentary before he’ll watch an award-winning movie, and DMac thanks players like Aqib Talib for a fantastic Super Bowl 50. CJ Anderson & Bubba Caldwell are not allowed into the media section, and DMac asks Big Al what security is like at Super Bowl LII. Al says when you get invited to a Super Bowl, you better go, and the guys agree the Super Bowl should always be played in Miami, New Orleans, Phoenix or Los Angeles.

The Vikings kept four QBs on the final 53, and Sirles talks about what Minnesota offered to keep Kyle Sloter on the practice squad. Also, what Sirles noticed about Sloter during his pregame ritual.
