The Drive with DMac & Chad Brown LIVE in studio! ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joins the show to tell DMac & Chad how everything with VJ got jumbled up & all over the map. FAN Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about CJ Anderson’s comments on twitter & the writing on the wall when it comes to Eric Studesville. Denver7 Broncos Insider Troy Renck joins the show to discuss Elway’s decision to retain Vance Joseph, and move on from so many coordinators.

DMac & Chad discuss CJ Anderson’s twitter beef after RBs Coach Eric Studesville is let go by the Broncos. DMac says he has no doubts Studesville will land on his feet, and Elway knew moving on from Vance Joseph would be a bad look for him. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joins the show to tell DMac & Chad how everything with VJ got jumbled up & all over the map. Adam says the Broncos went back & forth on the decision to move on, and DMac asks Adam about position coaches being fired. Adam says coaches are judged on what they’ve done lately, and if Denver plays well, worries about VJ will be set aside. Also, why Elway is allowed to change his mind, and the list of all the factors that play into a decision like this. Listen to the interview HERE! In the Big 3 @ 3:30, DMac says he can’t stand Bills fans & their faith in Buffalo after only a wildcard playoff berth, their first since the Music City Miracle in 2000. Chad asks DMac if Jon Gruden has a chance to revive the Raiders, and DMac debates if Gruden is still current enough. The guys list Broncos scapegoats as we enter a pivotal time in franchise history. DMac says the secondary never got over the loss of TJ Ward, and the slaughter could continue tomorrow as Denver clears out their coaching staff.

DMac wants to see who the Broncos replace these coaches with, and Chad says they need to whittle down the cooks in the kitchen for VJ. DMac says the influence of the players is minimal, and Chad compares the talent on the roster to the talent in the coaching room. DMac says CJ might not have thought it all through, and Cecil says the coach Broncos fans wanted gone is still here. Cecil mentions names like Baker Mayfield & Connor Williams that he and the Broncos will have their eyes on for the Senior Bowl & the Shrine Game. DMac says Kubiak will oversee personnel, and more of VJ’s guys will be brought in. Troy thinks Brock Olivo is a better college fit, and tells DMac what changed Elway’s mind about firing VJ. Also, Troy gives his opinion on if Aqib Talib will be back next year. DMac marvels at Baker Mayfield’s body of work, and Chad says we knew Baker had swag. Also, DMac & Chad review the top stories of the day, and decide if Talib embarrassed himself. The guys marvel at the Rose Bowl and what a great game it’s been, and Chad is worried Baker Mayfield’s game will have trouble transitioning to the NFL.
