The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE! The guys talk about what the Broncos should do at QB, and why Broncos Country should care who Denver chooses to roll with as the season wraps up.  DMac wonders if Kirk Cousins is special enough to earn $30 million a year, and Al doesn’t think he is. Al thinks the Denver Broncos need to back the BRINKS truck up for Drew Brees.

Vance Joseph wants Brock, John Elway wants Paxton and DMac doesn’t care. Big Al says an average of 62 yards a game isn’t exciting, and DMac pokes fun at Kirk Cousins. The guys agree there will be no ‘The Decision’ campaign for ’18. Big Al talks alternatives for college basketball, and what happens when you invite outsiders into the organization like Pitino. LaVar Ball starts a Big Baller basketball league for those that don’t want to go to college. DMac says 18-year-olds must be given the option to go pro, and Al says it’s crazy there is no opportunity to go pro unless a player goes overseas. The guys talk about what the Broncos should do at QB, and why Broncos Country should care who Denver chooses to roll with as the season wraps up. DMac says Derek Jeter is in some hot water, as he fields questions from season ticket holders about his offseason moves.

DMac says nobody believes Paxton gives the Broncos the best chance to win, and Al restates that this is the worst job in the NFL to take when you can’t pick your own QB as Broncos Head Coach. DMac wonders if Kirk Cousins is special enough to earn $30 million a year, and Al doesn’t think he is. Al thinks the Denver Broncos need to back the BRINKS truck up for Drew Brees. Al says the best thing is to play with integrity & play the best player, and DMac says to him, it’s an easy decision. DMac says there is no more locker room left to lose, and Al says it will get worse now that the Pro Bowl has been decided. DMac says Christmas has gotten out of control, and Big Al does the King Soopers Fan Football Shame Game. Also, a loyal caller yells at DMac that she pays good money to see the Broncos’ best product on the field.

DMac says it’s time to take the day off and relax, and Al laughs about Von Miller’s bow hunting skills. Al says Saccomano set the standard, and we invented the way things should be done. Al says this has been an embarrassing year, and he’s beginning to question the integrity of the organization. Al asks DMac who has a worse situation than the Denver Broncos, and we hear from Paxton & Brock as they both prepare to be the starter on Sunday. Al says it’s gotten too personal for him, and he doesn’t like seeing Elway and friends struggle like this. Also, Al says he’s afraid the fans will no longer care after a while. DMac offers some tips for Paxton to be better in pressers, and Al highlights what makes Brock the MVP of press conferences. Also, Al’s thoughts on Bill O’Brien and picking a new quarterback.
