The Drive with Big Al & Cecil LIVE in studio! ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joins the show to tell the guys if anything will be coming from the league in regards to a suspension for Aqib Talib after Talib snatched Crabtree’s chain for a second time & threw a punch. Denver7 Broncos Insider Troy Renck joins the show to talk Paxton’s high ankle sprain, and Big Al fears they don’t believe in Paxton here in Denver anymore.

Al is disappointed in his boy, Aqib Talib. Al says Talib is not good, he is great, and lost some credibility for VJ yesterday when he decided to rip Michael Crabtree’s chain off. Al says Talib was looking for a fight, and his absence became obvious when Langley showed on the field that he simply is not ready. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joins the show to tell the guys if anything will be coming from the league in regards to a suspension for Aqib Talib after Talib snatched Crabtree’s chain for a second time & threw a punch. Schefter recalls some of the famous Denver brawls with Oakland, such as James Thrash’s fight along the sidelines, and says this is one of the more bizarre chapters in the saga. Schefter says the Broncos plan is to stick with Vance Joseph, at least through the season, and Al starts wondering about the upcoming class of QBs despite an angry Broncos fan-base. Listen to the interview HERE! In the Big 3 @ 3:30, Big Al talks about Alabama finishing their basketball game against Minnesota with three players after a fight, a foul-out and an injury. Cecil says Alex Smith will be the Chiefs starter for this week at least, but they want to get Mahomes in soon, and the guys agree Bradley Roby played better. Also, Big Al says he wants to hear from Broncos fans on what this Broncos losing streak has done to the fan-base.

The fans tell Big Al they don’t feel so bad after all those winning seasons & all that talent on the roster, and Al says you can’t compare Trevor Siemian to Philip Rivers because Rivers is off the chain. Everyone knows Al wears his heart on his sleeve, and he says we must always have faith that the Broncos will turn things around & make sure this doesn’t last long. The guys agree things are a little different here, and Al talks what will happen if VJ can’t turn things around. Al & Cecil decide if VJ is a team-first coach, and if this undisciplined Broncos team has taken on the personality of their head coach & QB. Big Al points out drafting Garett Bolles as an undisciplined move & wants to know who is responsible for the draft. Denver7 Broncos Insider Troy Renck joins the show to talk Paxton’s high ankle sprain, and Big Al fears they don’t believe in Paxton here in Denver anymore. Troy says we haven’t seen enough of Paxton, but now he can’t stay healthy, and a championship QB is not currently on Denver’s roster. Also, maybe the Broncos trade Siemian, and Troy says he can’t imagine there won’t be some major coaching changes. Listen to the interview HERE!

Big Al discusses playoff scenarios in the AFC, and says the outcome of the season changed with the philosophy over the BYE week. Al says he’s not upset, because when things like this happen, the Broncos typically land a great player. Cecil & Al mention ‘the Broncos way’ and Al has some advice for Elway on selecting his own draft picks. Cecil says Denver needs a way of developing what they’ve invested in. Cecil suggests drafting Georgia RB Nick Chubb, and the guys decide who the best QB Denver ever drafted was. Big Al wants to move Bolles to RT, and says Drew Brees is not leaving New Orleans.
