The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! DMac says this is absolutely Brock’s last chance, and he’s simply not good enough to be Denver’s starting QB, and Al says we have to stay close in games for the defense to be effective. DMac compares Bill Belichick to a Sith Lord from Star Wars, and Belichick struggles to find good things to say about Denver’s offense before saying the Broncos kicking game is explosive.
Al asks DMac if he wants Nate Solder in Denver, and DMac says he wants whatever is best for Nate Solder & his family, with everything that’s been going on. In the Big 3 @ 3:30, DMac can’t believe the LiAngelo Ball story after he was arrested in China, and Big Al laughs about Jalen Ramsey calling A.J. Green weak. As the boys jump Inside the Numbers, DMac is astounded that NFL players invest so much time and effort into social media, and notes how much better a pro athlete’s life is than a regular person’s.
In Football @ 4:00, we hear from Brock Osweiler about why he’s in a good mood and if he learned anything from his stupid interceptions on Sunday. DMac says this is absolutely Brock’s last chance, and he’s simply not good enough to be Denver’s starting QB. Al says DMac is simply being an antagonist, and the guys decide if parting ways with Kyle Sloter was a mistake. DMac says Broncos fans are a rare breed, and Al says we are done seeing 50/50 balls from Brock to DT. Also, Al explains why playing here means more when you’re from here. The Ric Flair story is out, and DMac asks Al if he will watch the 30 for 30.
Al & DMac wonder where the breaking point is when a coach loses the team, and Al tries to figure out DMac’s fascination with Mike McCoy. DMac says we must score touchdowns and not field goals, and Al says we have to stay close in games for the defense to be effective. Before we go any further, DMac compares Bill Belichick to a Sith Lord from Star Wars, and Belichick struggles to find good things to say about Denver’s offense before saying the Broncos kicking game is explosive. To wrap, the guys take calls from the fellas about John Elway bringing in a players’ coach, and decide if Vance Joseph is simply a lame duck & in over his head.
