Zach Bye’s Fan Football Pregame LIVE in studio! Brandon Stokley joins the show to say it’s not just about one game, he’s reacting to the last three, and it’s becoming a trend at this point. Brandon thinks the offense needs to start converting on third down, and the defense needs to step up a bit.
Zach says you know what you’re going to get with consistent teams, and he’s still waiting to see some consistency with the Broncos. There is an opening for any Broncos QB to step up, and Zach thinks it’s Trevor’s audition to be a cornerstone. Zach says it’s a ‘prove it to me’ league, and Denver has some proving to do. Zach highlights the opportunity that hung in front of Denver last week, and the risk in leaving Barbre out in space for a full game. Zach wonders what type of production we’re going to see, and debates if the AFC West division is already done for. Denver must run the ball to set up Trevor, and the defense can’t let him down. Zach says Trevor is not immune to criticism, and mentions Hunter Henry as a player to watch.
