The O-Line seems to be the strength of the team, and DMac notes that overall, it has been a picture-perfect start to the season for Denver. DMac laughs about getting doused in champagne following the Rockies clinching a Wild Card spot, and says there’s nothing like watching unbridled Rockies joy from Carlos Gonzalez & Co. Adam Schefter joins the show to say you better recognize there is a lot of work left to do, and if you want to celebrate early, go right ahead. The boys laugh about champagne baths & when the best time to steal Tom Brady’s jersey would be, and Schefter mentions public respect & doing your job as a professional. Schefter says there’s probably a Broncos rivalry with Jack Del Rio, but we will never hear that out of John Elway. Also, Adam says he will have some information next week on Pat Bowlen’s situation & how everything will wind up with Broncos ownership. Listen to the interview HERE! In the Big 3 @ 3:30, Al says the Broncos have to find ways to capitalize on good luck, and he’s worried about McManus & the kicking game. LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

DMac laughs about AJ Derby catching a difficult pass along the sidelines after lining up at the fullback position. DMac likes when Siemian pushes the ball down-field, and notes that Siemian seemed to be playing it safe on Sunday. The first quarter was textbook, but the problems in the red-zone for Denver still exist. The guys hear audio from VJ on why the penalties remained a factor in the game, and what transferred over from a rough week of practice. Al says the Broncos are asking for it when they push themselves back into 3rd & long situations, and DMac says for whatever reason, Siemian is not on the same page with his top receivers. In back-to-back weeks, absurd penalties have killed Denver on special teams, and Al notes that special teams consist of young, inexperienced athletes. DMac doesn’t know what’s going on with McManus & Dixon, and Al says guys need to be special when it counts. Troy Renck joins the show to admit he doesn’t know the lyrics to the Broncos’ new fight song, and tells the guys how much John Bowlen is looking at if he decides to cash out. Troy debates who the best fit to take over for Pat Bowlen is, and tries to calm the fans down about the situation in Denver. Also, Troy says there is no reason to panic yet, but the special teams in Denver are definitely under a microscope, including the leg of Brandon McManus. Listen to the interview HERE!
