The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! DMac says he is ready for Rocktober ’17 and the guys are extremely sad about the passing of Red Miller. Greg Papa joins the show to say he wants to see the Raiders put bodies on Broncos, and that he loves Von Miller, but Khalil Mack came into the league with more power. Al asks what happened in Oakland with Bill Musgrave, and Greg says Bill didn’t fit into the same mentality as Del Rio. Trevor Story joins the show to talk about the Rockies getting that certain playoff feeling, and taking it day-by-day.

DMac says he is ready for Rocktober ’17 and the guys are extremely sad about the passing of Red Miller. DMac says the Redskins are tough, but he thought the Raiders were better than what they showed on Sunday night. Rick Pitino is in some very hot water after the FBI makes some arrests following an investigation into NCAA corruption & the Adidas scandal. Al can’t believe Ben Simmons is from Australia, and the guys are pumped about the youthful talent in the NBA for ’17. Shame on Mark Schlereth, as he comes in last place in the King Soopers Fan Pick ‘Em & must say whatever Stoke & Zach decide. Al remembers getting worked in Oakland & Napoleon making the Broncos ‘bow down.’

Greg Papa joins the show to say he wants to see the Raiders put bodies on Broncos, and that he loves Von Miller, but Khalil Mack came into the league with more power. Greg highlights breakdowns in communication between the Raiders’ safeties & finally some continuity with the Oakland staff. The guys review Charlie Blackmon’s MVP-type numbers, and hear audio from Trevor Siemian on the Broncos coming together as an offense & learning. The Rockies struggle to close things out against the Miami Marlins, and are lucky to get out of Coors Field today with a win despite all the offensive fireworks. Al debates with DMac which position for Denver is under the most pressure this week, Left Tackle or Right Tackle. Also, Justin Timberlake is set to return this year as the Super Bowl halftime entertainment. The King Soopers Shame Game is in full effect, and DMac reminds everyone why you don’t want to be the team to lose. Menelik Watson’s struggles continue, and Big Al tells everybody what’s so hard about playing the left tackle position. Al says the Broncos will have to win with offense this season with no more legendary defense, and if Denver puts up 24 points a game, they win 12 games.

If the Rockies win one more game at home, we are looking for them to keep rocking into October says DMac, and Big Al keeps a close eye on the Brewers & Cardinals heading into tonight. Pat Neshek is still trying to get Zack Greinke’s autograph, and Big Al talks about the three things you never talk about in an NFL locker room. Trevor Story joins the show to talk about the Rockies getting that certain playoff feeling, and taking it day-by-day. DMac asks Story about what it will be like to play in the MLB playoffs, and if he will have a different mindset or change anything about his approach when playoffs begin. Story says every game from here-on-out will be the most important one, and it’s imperative that the Rockies don’t put too much pressure on themselves. Also, Trevor says he’s afraid of scary movies, and his girlfriend might take him to see the new ‘IT’ movie on Colorado’s off-day. Listen to the interview HERE! Al & DMac decide if the Rockies need their upcoming off-day to charge the batteries once more, and DMac responds to Stoke about Andy Janovich being a situational football player or a superstar fullback. Debate on C.J. Anderson’s speed and if he is slow compared to Jamaal Charles. DMac says all NFL running backs are freaky fast, and says Al was a superfreak.
