The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Al says Ryan Tannehill’s injury is not significant, and DMac asks if teams are cowardly for not signing Kaepernick. Rockies new catcher Jonathan Lucroy joins the show to talk about his playoff experience being brought to a young Rockies team set to make the wildcard. Andy Janovich joins the show to answer what a four-phaser is, and where he sees himself on this Broncos team. Also, Goodell visits Dove Valley & the direct links between football, CTE & Alzheimer’s.

Trevor Siemian’s performance is broken down, and DMac tells Big Al that Paxton ran with the ball on 7v7 & Vance Joseph wants Paxton to be natural. A lot of veterans were resting at training camp today, and DMac says DT looks great & that something may have been going on with his hip last season. Big Al notes that Janovich is not a part of many offensive sets the Broncos have been running, and DMac previews tomorrow’s practice with the QBs having their reps split. DMac asks Aqib about picking Paxton, and Aqib says that offensive set was fresh in his mind. Big Al says you can hear every check imaginable at the line during preseason games, and the fans will be quiet at the HOF Game. The Rockies gather around Arenado, and DMac congratulates them, noting their upcoming schedule. Lucroy says he didn’t rub it when he got drilled to get on base for the final run against the Mets today, and guys knew the Mets would beat themselves if they laid off some pitches. Janovich gives a million reasons for the Broncos not to cut him, and notes the importance of making plays on special teams. Big Al asks Janovich about the running back group he’ll be blocking for this season, and Andy tells the guys he’s never had problems catching the football & how wrestling helped him work on his hand position & balance.
