DMac says Paxton must show it & hasn’t. Al pretends Paxton is starting by Aug. 20th, and says Bolles wasn’t brought in to pass block. Troy Renck joins the show to say the Broncos defense is still really good, and Von Miller is set to be MVP. Troy mentions an underwhelming QB position, and says the offense got mauled on Sunday. Al can’t believe Johnny isn’t taking care of minor details at this stage in the game, and says this breaks his heart. Cecil decides if lining up the Broncos offense against the second-team defense could establish some confidence & if Jamaal Charles can be the man once again. Cecil says we should see more and more Charles & read-option as camp goes on. Also, Ryan Clady retires as one of the Broncos’ all-timers at LT & the Denver secondary continues to trend up.
