Broncos WR Latimer touts ‘life changes’ after strip club scrap

Denver Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer said he’s made “positive life changes” and has “grown” since a Feb. 20 scuffle at an Ohio strip club.
TMZ Sports published a video on Sunday morning that shows Latimer and his uncle in an argument with a strip club bouncer, which escalated into a dust up in which Latimer was reportedly sprayed with pepper spray and his uncle knocked off his feet with a punch.
In a statement on Twitter later Sunday morning, Latimer said he communicated the altercation to new Broncos head coach Vance Joseph and the organization, saying that he had been trying “settle things down.”
“I’ve been through so many positive life changes and have grown so much since Feb. 20, and this situation is in the past,” Latimer wrote. “It’s unfortunate that something from six months ago that didn’t result in anything all of (SIC) this sudden becomes a big story.”

In a statement to the media, the Broncos said, “We are aware of the matter from several months ago involving Cody Latimer, and it has been discussed with him.”
The news comes out just more than a week ahead of when the Broncos will report to UCHealth Training Center for training camp, wherein Latimer will be competing for the third-string wide receiver role.
