DMac starts to unravel the complicated John Elway contract situation in Denver, and breaks down Nicki Jhabvala’s latest article regarding the most famous Broncos quarterback of all-time. Paul Millsap joins the show, and DMac tells Millsap his new contract is great for his career & for his family. Millsap says it was an emotional day, and a dream-come-true. Patrick Saunders joins the show to discuss talking to New yorkers on a train as the Rockies get set to take on the Mets from Citi Field on Friday.

Big Al hints at the worst deal John Elway ever walked away from, and the guys debate why the Broncos haven’t re-signed John Elway yet. Al throws out a deal Elway & his crew could easily do, and DMac wonders if Kevin Durant was in on Peyton Manning’s ESPYs joke. Paul Millsap joins the show, and DMac tells him the new contract is great for his career & for his family. Millsap says it was an emotional day, and a dream-come-true. Paul notes that he is an observant person, and it brought back memories being back in Montbello. Millsap wants to be the guy that leads the way for these young Nuggets, and DMac notes how amazing life is, and that things have come full-circle now that Millsap will have to buy family members out here a new house. Also, Lonzo Ball’s new shoes may indicate a NIKE deal is imminent,  love for Carmelo as he hopes for a better situation in Houston, and DMac says Julian Edelman might have been out of line at the ESPYs.

Big Al laughs about Shannon Sharpe’s story on UNDISPUTED involving a foot race between Sharpe and Big Al for game checks, and compares the story to Floyd Mayweather’s trash talk back and forth with Conor McGregor at the presser for their fight on August 26th. DMac talks about what he heard from the Broncos regarding John Elway & his pending contract with Denver regarding ownership & GM extension. Patrick Saunders joins the show to discuss talking to New Yorkers on a train as the Rockies get set to take on the Mets from Citi Field on Friday. Patrick says ERA doesn’t mean a damn thing if you’re pitching at Coors Field, and attitude has a lot to do with it. The guys break down Corey Dillon’s comments on Terrell Davis, and Big Al says Dillon’s comments should have been directed at Curtis Martin. Al asks DMac who else could have done what TD did in the Super Bowl with a migraine, and says everybody in football is expendable, even John Elway. From the outside looking in, the Broncos are the most dysfunctional NFL franchise right now, with the QB situation and now Elway’s contract situation both in limbo. Also, DMac asks Al if Peyton Manning was the best ESPYs host ever, and the guys discuss regional sports networks like ROOT. Finally, Big Sexy asks the guys Who Ya Got falling out of the Rockies pitching rotation once Chad Bettis returns.
