The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! The Rockies All-Stars make their return from Miami & the ’17 MLB ASG, and DMac was impressed with Nolan Arenado’s performance. The guys discuss if Garett Bolles should be the starter at LT, or if there’s any more juice left to squeeze out of Ty Sambrailo. Also, the Broncos need a new stadium & a new plan for parking.

DMac tells Big Al why baseball is great, and what its weak points are. Big Al talks about particular games he didn’t play well in, and how many days of practice it took him to get it down. Big Al thinks there’s just something about the big teams like the Yankees being out there for the MLB All-Star Game, and asks DMac if he would still consider DeAngelo Williams in Denver after he just trash-talked the Cowboys. Also, The guys discuss if Garett Bolles should be the starter at LT, or if there’s any more juice left to squeeze out of Ty Sambrailo.

The guys discuss taking Brock back, and take calls on if Bronco Country would take Osweiler back in Denver. DMac notes that Osweiler knows Mike McCoy, and the guys decide if Kubiak’s relationship with Elway will survive. Big Al asks DMac if Brock is responsible for some of Denver’s major wins along the way to their Super Bowl 50 victory, and how Elway met Brock in the first place. DMac explains how Brock became a family friend, similar to The Godfather. Also, Big Al tells DMac the Denver Broncos need a new stadium downtown in the worst way.

Big Al & DMac debate locations that could work for the Broncos new stadium, and DMac says there’s nothing special about the current stadium. Lone Tree & Thornton are thrown out as possibilities by some callers, and the guys discuss the light rail system as a way to transport fans. Big Al laughs about the best ESPYs moments, and looks forward to Peyton Manning filling big shoes tonight as a host. Also, the distasteful interaction between Floyd Mayweather & Conor McGregor at their pre-fight press-conference.
