Brandon McManus will be launching kickoffs and kicking field goals for at least another season in a Denver Broncos uniform, as the restricted free agent reportedly signed a one-year tender with the club on Wednesday.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter first reported the deal, in which McManus will make $2.8 million, and said that a long-term contract could still be a possibility.
The last unsigned RFA, Brandon McManus, just signed his one-year $2.8M tender with Broncos, per source. A long-term deal still possible.

Last month, McManus discussed his contract situation, saying he’d continue to workout with the team during the offseason while his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, worked on a deal with Broncos general manager John Elway and director of football administration Mike Sullivan.
“I would love to be here as long as I can and be on a long-term deal here that gives me some security,” McManus said in late-May. “I love Denver, and I love the fan base here. I would love to be here for four years so why not see what I can do?”
McManus said at the time there was no rush to get a deal done, that it could go up until the June 15, the deadline for NFL teams to withdraw a qualifying offer to restricted free agents and still retain exclusive negotiating rights.
The Broncos acquired McManus via trade with the New York Giants in 2014 as a replacement for then-Denver kicker Matt Prater, who was serving a four-game ban.
McManus ended up impressing the club enough to earn the full-time gig, and Denver released Prater after serving his suspension.
After struggling a bit in the 2014 campaign, making just 69.2 percent of field goals, McManus put 85.7 and 85.3 percent of his field goal attempts through the uprights in 2015 and 2016.
On extra points, McManus has missed just twice in three seasons, making 108 of 110 kicks for a 98.2 percentage.
